Hey there.

I’m Jenay. Creator, Strategist, and Soft-life advocate for Black women who are building careers, creating art, and learning how to care for themselves at the same time.

Thank you for dropping. I created HelloJenay because for years, I lived in the tension many Black women know too well: The tension between ambition and exhaustion, between being “the strong one” and being deeply tired, between leading at work and losing yourself at home.

I’ve spent my 10+ year career in project management and consulting — managing complex systems, guiding teams, solving problems, and holding space for everyone else’s deadlines. And at the same time, I’ve been a creative: writing, producing content, building community, and exploring what it means to live with intention.

The truth is I needed a place where all of me could exist. And so did the women watching my journey.

I channel my creativity and passion for building systems + an inclusive community by producing engaging and thought-provoking digital content. Over the last 7 years, I’ve leveraged my entrepreneurial experiences to explore topics related to productivity, leadership, and personal development; sharing valuable insights and real-life practical advice with my digital community to help cultivate a life designed around capacity, not chaos.

Through storytelling and real-life experiences, I teach Black women how to: build lives that feel good, not just look good; how to lead without abandoning their softness; how to create routines that nourish instead of drain; how to blend ambition with ease, clarity, and self-trust and how to build systems that support their wellbeing.

My platform is where wellness meets career. Where creativity meets strategy. Where softness meets leadership. And where Black women meet themselves again.

I want Black women to see themselves as whole, not just high-performing. I want us to feel safe resting, resetting, and receiving.

I want our wellness to be culturally grounded and most importantly, I want us to stop surviving and start shaping our life intentionally.
